The Kelly & Windsor Alpaca Bamboo Half & Half quilt is manufactured by spreading a 300gsm layer (cool) blend of 40% premium quality Australian Alpaca Fleece and 60% Bamboo Fibre on one side and 500gsm layer (warm) on the other.
Alpaca fleece has some very special properties especially its warmth compared to other natural animal fibres. Alpaca quilts are approximately twenty-five per cent warmer than wool quilts and can therefore be designed to be either warmer than an equivalent wool quilt, doona or duvet or made with a lighter weight design and have the same warmth.
